The South of England spring show, Spring Live! is the perfect fun family day out, offering something for all ages. Enjoy plenty of live entertainment and be wowed by exciting displays and demonstrations. Visitors can also try their hand at a number of ‘have a go’ activities and enjoy the fairground rides.

Cranbrook Goes Nuts in May is part of Cranbrook in Bloom.

Our street festival returned for the third year on May 26th 2019. Then in 2020, as everyone stayed at home, we kept the spirit of the Festival alive by taking it online. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a garden, so we created a virtual one online, ran a bee-themed artwork competition and promoted local businesses who were still open for business online.

​Subsequent years have been a challenge but we kept going and are delighted to say that we will be back again on 24th May 2026 10am-4pm

Offering all ages the chance to connect with the countryside and have a great day out, the South of England Show features a non-stop programme of agricultural and equestrian displays, country pursuits, live entertainment, rural crafts and an abundance of food, drink and shopping opportunities. Ashtead Village Day is organised each year by the volunteers of Ashtead Rotary Club to provide a service to the community. The event is also the main fundraiser that allows Ashtead Rotary Club to support many worthy causes over the following year.

Reduced price tickets will be on sale in advance in many of the local shops or full price tickets may be purchased on the gate on the day.

So come and have fun! It is a spectacular day out for the whole family, from infants to grandparents and all those in between.

The Cowpie Country Show is run by The Surrey County Federation of Young Farmers Club to provide a venue for their Outdoor Competitions Day, to raise money to run the Surrey Young Farmers Charity and to provide an exciting day out for all.

The Brightling Flower & Dog Show will be held on Saturday 18th July in the Tower Field, by kind permission of the French Family. Gates open at 1.30pm. Free parking, under 16s free, 16 and over £3 entry.

This is always a fun-filled family day out, with something for everyone:

Dog Show – even bigger and better than before
Stalls selling gifts, plants and much more

Everyone is welcome – you don’t have to live in Brightling to enter your home-grown veg, plants, flowers, baking, preserves or handicraft, or to enter your dog in the Dog Show. So, do come along with the whole family to enjoy this quintessentially English summer tradition that has been held for over 100 years.
